I got Buddy for my son, who is autistic, and from the beginning she has simply been part of our little family. She’s loving, funny, incredibly sociable and happiest wherever we are — whether that’s out on an adventure, curled up at home or right in the middle of whatever is going on. My son absolutely adores her, and Buddy is very much our dog. She has brought so much fun and affection into our lives, and it was her fantastic nature that made me want to have a litter from her. The puppies are being born and raised right here at home with us, just as part of family life. Finding the right sire for Buddy took some searching. I wanted to be confident that he was the right match for her, both in temperament and health, and I found him in Wales. His owner is an experienced Kennel Club registered breeder. I’ve also been very lucky to have both her experience and that of a close friend who is a veterinary nurse to call on whenever needed. As it turns out, Buddy has been an absolute pro through the whole thing and has taken to motherhood completely naturally.
