Labradoodles are a charming crossbreed between the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle, and they were originally bred in Australia by Wally Conron. Sometimes affectionately referred to as "Doodles" or the occasional whimsical "Pootriever," these dogs were primarily developed to serve as hypoallergenic guide dogs. They inherit the intelligence of their Poodle parents and the affectionate nature of Labradors, making them wonderful companions and great family pets. Although they can be prone to certain health issues such as hip dysplasia, they are usually energetic and sociable, thriving with active families. These delightful pups often display an irresistible love for water and are excellent swimmers too!
