Originating from the Thule people over a millennium ago, these dogs have long been esteemed as reliable sled dogs and companions in harsh, sub-zero climates. Powerful and athletic in build, they are distinguishable by their thick fur and striking wolf-like features. Sadly, this ancient breed is nearing extinction, with just about 300 purebred dogs left. While they're not ideal for temperate climates, their history and endurance remain truly captivating.
