Description
Exceptional temperament | Outstanding nose | Gentle soul
Morse is a beautiful Labrador bred from working gundog lines and originally sold into police service, where he was trained as a cash, firearms and drugs detection dog.
In training, Morse was outstanding β intelligent, focused, and with an exceptionally strong sense of smell. Unfortunately (and charmingly), his kind and gentle nature meant that when it came to operational work, he would happily choose a treat and affection over βearningβ it. Because of this, he was released from service.
What Morse does offer is something incredibly special.
β¨ Temperament:
β’ Super friendly, affectionate, and people-focused
β’ Extremely placid and calm
β’ Never growls or barks
β’ Very needy in the best possible way β he just wants to be close and please
β’ Fantastic nature for family homes or assistance-type roles
π Ability:
β’ Exceptionally strong nose
β’ Would have been an ideal candidate for an epilepsy or medical alert role
β’ Intelligent, responsive, and eager to engage
π Health & Care:
β’ No health issues
β’ Loves food a little too much and doesnβt know when to stopβ¦ but then again, he is a Labrador!
Morse would make an excellent stud for anyone looking to produce calm, gentle, people-oriented puppies with intelligence and a natural working nose, without high drive or aggression.
If youβre looking to breed dogs with outstanding temperaments, trainability, and hearts of gold, Morse is your boy π
