The Utonagan, named after the Chinook Indian phrase meaning "spirit of the wolf," is a striking breed designed to emulate the appearance of a wolf while retaining the gentle temperament of a domestic dog. Introduced into the UK in the late 1980s, this rare breed is gaining gradual recognition for its unique blend of intelligence, adaptability, and striking wolf-like appearance without any actual wolf DNA. It has become well-known for its role as a PAT therapy dog in schools, hospitals, and hospices, demonstrating both its versatility and gentle nature.

Utonagan is bred from the Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, and German Shepherd, the Utonagan combines a muscular yet athletic build with a calm, friendly demeanour. Their temperamental balance makes them wonderful family pets for owners with an active outdoor lifestyle who understand the needs of this intelligent breed. They are highly trainable but require socialisation and handling by experienced owners due to their specific behavioural traits and exercise demands.

All the puppies are wormed, flea’d, vet checked and will be vaccinated for collection from the 21st August

They are currently 8 weeks old and are showing great progression with toilet training using the puppy pads and out in the garden they settle very well at night, overall very healthy happy dogs. They have been well socialised as we have children, other dogs and cats in our household.

SOLD - Ice cube He is white and fluffy, beautiful blue eyes and has a brown little nose. He’s the biggest in the pack. He Is a confident boy loves to play, loves cuddles and happy to separate from the pack to get some much needed rest.

Peanut She has Lovely shades of brown colourings and dark brown eyes. She has such a beautiful face, great temperament, she loves to play and loves belly rubs. She’s is such a clever little girl.

Snowflake She is all white, blue eyes and brown nose with a very curly tail. She is super cute. She’s the calmest amongst her siblings. she has great confidence and loves human company.

Angel White with ginger/blonde tones, brown eyes and black nose. She is always so happy to see you, she’s very welcoming, she has a very playful energetic personality and loves to cuddle.
