Parti colour refers to the large patch markings pups are born with. Roan refers to additional small "freckles" of extra colour that develop over time giving the coat a marbled apperance in the roan areas. In this litter we have one very obviously roaning little girl and the other 3 babies to a lesser degree more subtle freckles.

Parti colour is a naturally occurring and beautiful coat pattern from the poodle side & roan is a cocker trait. Neither are to be confused with Merle which does not exist in either poodle or cocker spaniel breeds. Merle "cockapoos" have had another breed introduced into the mix. Merle is associated with increased health risks and a quick google will provide you with plenty of information regarding this.

Mum is our incredibly calm and gentle cocker girl from mixed working and show lines giving her the finer head shape of the worker but with beautiful coat feathering from her show genetics. Dad is our chocolate parti toy poodle boy who is just shy of being miniature height. Expected adult size is around the same height as mum and around 9-12kg weight. Parents are here to meet you when you visit.

Our previous cockapoos over the 10 years we've been breeding have left us to fulfill many roles including being both school dogs and hospital visiting therapy dogs & even agility participants as well as the more usual family pet and companion roles and are excellent learners, highly intelligent and very eager to please. The more training you put in, the more you will be rewarded.

Health test papers can be viewed in person for both parental and grand parental testing.

Every puppy leaves us wormed up to date, having had their first vaccine, microchip implanted and a physical vet exam having been passed. We provide 4 weeks of insurance cover, a puppy blanket that has been used here for familiar scent to help settling in and a puppy file of relevant paperwork including vet record, diet routine sheet etc. We also send an extensive informational document with all our advice and recommendations as soon as a deposit is placed to help you get ready beforehand.

Our pups are raised in our family home, handled by our young children & get lots of attention and socialisation as they grow up. By the time they are old enough to leave us they are used to the TV, vacuum, music & are introduced to bathtime, nail clipping, hairdryers and first car rides. Puppies are paper trained to do their business on paper before leaving us which makes fully toilet training a lot easier & we also introduce them to being in a crate for short time periods so that if you decide to crate train it's not a totally new experience for them.

We are fully council licensed home breeders and our adult dogs are part of our family. When you choose one of our pups you are supporting ethical, legal breeding within a family home where puppies are raised in a home environment. This makes a huge difference to the social and emotional development of puppies the importance of which cannot be overemphasised.
