We're a family based in Cambridge hoping to find an adult dog with a calm, settled temperament rather than a puppy. Our youngest son, 7, has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair for longer distances, with some difficulties with balance and coordination, so we're looking for a dog who's easy-going and less likely to jump or be unpredictable.
My husband and I both work from home, so a dog would have company throughout the day, and we have a large, private, secure garden along with easy access to local walks. Our older children have wanted a dog for years too and would love to be involved in walks and care.
We're open to any breed or mix, and any size from small to large, temperament matters far more to us than breed or looks. We're happy to consider dogs being rehomed by breeders, private owners, or rescues, and can offer a genuinely stable, loving home for life. Happy to answer any questions or provide references.
