My father and I are looking for the right dog to be a companion to our current dog, Wallace. Wallace is a young beagle with lots of energy, and though dad works from home he can't play with Wallace at all hours - we think getting Wallace a friend will help him relax some, and they can have lots of fun together!

We are looking for a French Bulldog (preferred), Pug or a cross of these. Our previous family dog was a much loved Frenchie who we've been missing terribly since his passing.

Ideally, we'd like to bring it home in April if at all possible. Dad would absolutely be willing to consider older individuals as opposed to younger puppies. The dog must also be ok with or tolerant towards cats, as we have a cat also (she and our old Frenchie were very close, but Wallace is a bit boisterous for her).

Must be within 50 miles of Harrogate area. Would want to bring Wallace to meet them at some point to make sure they're going to get along.
