Our #1 focus at Countryways Gundogs is breeding for training and temperament - we are on hand to lend advice and ensure the stud you are using compliments your bitch.

A seriously well-known dog in the trialling world for his ability to hit cover and find his game. Gaining numerous field trial awards and eventually a win! He has gone on to have lots of quality runs and awards in open stakes – many of the top A panel judges have liked and offered to buy Scrumpy though we would never sell!

Scrumpy follows several of his mother’s traits; easy to train and staying close with great drive. We have found that Scrumpy has been a fantastic stud dog complimenting many of todays lines. He is a handsome dog, large in stature, long in body with a lovely eye.

Scrumpy's stud fee is £500 and a four-generation pedigree will be provided. We complete a stud dog contract with you and require cash or bank transfer payment upon first tie. Pick of litter considered for suitable bitches and to be discussed during your visit with us.

I’d like to think we are experts at helping first time breeders as sometimes it can be difficult understanding the process. Alongside this, we can provide information regarding breeding and how best to look after your bitch moving forwards.
